About this project
During the height of the debate over the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk program, I conceptualized and designed an infographic for the NYCLU highlighting inequities in the program. The infographic became the most shared Facebook post ever from the organization.
Public Defense: The Wheel of Justice campaign was created around NYCLU’s public defense (right to counsel) case and incorporated a physical wheel that moved around the state asking spinners to take their chances with New York’s public defense system. To accompany this physical campaign, I was charged with creating a mobile responsive microsite, WheelofJusticeNY.org, that allowed participants to play from their desktops or mobile devices and prompted them to contact Governor Cuomo and share via social media.
